The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 59 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Kaduna had the highest record of the new cases with-28, Rivers-9, Ogun-8, Ondo-8, Kano-2, Niger-2, Kwara-1 and Plateau-1.
The agency said no new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,154.
The data from the agency disclosed that no patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 59,884, while 2,752 cases were still active in the country.
