Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Sunday announced that Nigeria recorded only 14 fresh cases of COVID-19 infections countrywide.
The figure was the lowest number in many months.
The data, released by the Agency, included zero death in addition to 248 community recoveries in Kwara State.
The 14 infections on Sunday spread across seven states.
They were: Osun (3), Ogun (3), Kaduna (3), Akwa Ibom (2), Abia (1), FCT (1) and Kwara (1).
165,167 cases have so far been confirmed while 155,361 cases had been discharged.
The fatalities figure as of Sunday stood at 2,063 nationwide.
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre, activated at Level 2, according to the agency, continued to coordinate the national response activities to the COVID-19 in the country.
