Nigeria has recorded 649 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 22,020
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made these known on Wednesday.
The health agency said 9 new deaths were recorded in the country as the deaths figure also increased from 533 on Tuesday night to 542 on Wednesday night.
The Centre also revealed that 7, 613 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
