Nigeria has recorded 594 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 22,614
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made these known on Thursday.
The health agency said 7 new deaths were recorded in the country as the deaths figure also increased from 542 on Wednesday night to 549 on Thursday night.

The Centre also revealed that there are 14,253 active cases currently in the country, adding that 7, 822 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
