Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 35 new cases of Covid-19 in the country.
The new cases have taken the total infections up to 164,719.
In addition to the data, one death was recorded in Nigeria as of Sunday, 25th of April 2021.
NCDC in its daily update on Coronavirus, said 154,926 cases had been discharged and 2,062 deaths had been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory of the country.
According to NCDC, the new cases were reported from seven states, with Lagos having the highest number of cases of 18 while Rivers had 7, Oyo-6, FCT-2, Ekiti-1, Kaduna-1.
Meanwhile, a multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, has continued to coordinate the national response activities.
