COVID-19: Lagos discharges 45 patients

Lagos State Government on Saturday announced the discharge of 45 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients from the various isolation facilities across the state to join the society.

The State Governor, who is also the Incident Commander, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, disclosed this during the daily briefing.

He said the 45 fully-recovered COVID-19 patients included 22 females and 23 males and they were all Nigerians.

Sanwo-Olu further stated that 19 patients were from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 3 from Onikan, 8 from Agidingbi, 7 from Lekki, 1 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) and 7 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centres.

He said they were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative for COVID-19.

The Governor said the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from the Isolation facilities in the state was now 707.

He urged residents in the state to take responsibility and play their part.
