A commercial bus caught fire on the Third Mainland Bridge near the UNILAG Waterfront while heading towards Iyana Oworo.
The incident, which occurred on Monday, led to severe traffic congestion on the busy bridge.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed the situation, stating that fire service teams were at the scene working to control the blaze.
Traffic was heavily disrupted, with vehicles backed up as far as Adekunle.
Drivers on the bridge were urged to remain calm and patient as emergency responders worked to extinguish the fire and clear the affected route.

The cause of the fire has not yet been identified, and authorities have begun an investigation.
