Tragedy struck on New Year Day in Agbor, Delta state with the death of a Catholic Church Priest while delivering a homily.
Report from the area said the priest, Rev. Steve Chukwuma, of St Joseph Catholic Church had slumped from the pulpit.
Witness’ account said the 63-year- old clergy was immediately rushed to a hospital where he was certified dead.
Parishioners described him as cheerful, caring, and passionate about people and their wellbeing.
