President Muhammadu Buhari has opened up on the legendary cabal that was believed to have operated in his presidency.
He also spoke on the ill health that plagued him in his first term, raising tension and fears around the presidency and in the polity.
The former president in an interview with NTA also spoke on what he missed out of office.
In the interview with the NTA programme “A Conversation With History,” to be aired on Monday, November 20, 2023, President Buhari was also asked on what he thought of developments outside the country while he was president.
Asked by the interviewer if the cabal was really a myth or a thing of the imagination President Buhari said “it well would have been.”
On the issue of his ill-health, the interviewer reminded President Buhari that he claimed on his return to the country that he said that he had never been that sick.
Asked what was really wrong with him, the president directed the interviewer to go and ask his doctor.
