The Lagos State High Court sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square has sentenced ASP Drambi Vandi, the police officer who killed a lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, to death by hanging.
The presiding judge, Ibironke Harrison, while delivering judgment on Monday, October 9, 2023, convicted Vandi of a one-count charge of murder.
Vandi had shot Mrs Raheem dead in the presence of her husband while returning from church on Christmas Day last year at a Police checkpoint in Lagos.
The suspended Police Officer was found guilty of the Christmas Day killing of Lagos property Lawyer, Omobolanle Raheem.
