Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday night confirmed 416 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) infections, bringing the total in the country to 10,578.
According to the health agency, 3,122 patients have recovered and discharged across the various isolation centres in the country.
The NCDC report also revealed that 12 new cases of deaths were recorded in the country as the total deaths figure increase from 287 on Sunday night to 299 on Monday night.
As usual, Lagos state recorded the highest cases of 192, followed by Edo, Rivers and Kaduna States with 41, 33 and 30 respectively
