Lagos State Government on Tuesday said 60 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from isolation facilities at Yaba, Eti-Osa and Ibeju-Lekki to reunite with their families and society.
Disclosing the development during the daily brifing, the State Governor and COVID-19 Chief Incident Commander Babajide Sanwo-Olu said the patients includes 40 males and 20 females,
He said 31 patients were discharged from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 19 from the Ibeju-Lekki and 10 from Eti-Osa Isolation Centres
Sanwo-Olu added that the 60 COVID-19 patients were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative in two consecutive readings.
He said with this, the number of COVI-19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos is now 321
