The National Assembly Service Commission has appointed Ojo Amos Olatunde as acting clerk to the National Assembly.
The appointment came a day after the commission queried Mohammed Sani-Omolori for refusing to retire as clerk to the national assembly after 35 years in service.
Ojo’s appointment was communicated in a press release by the National Assembly Service Commission signed by the Chair, Engr. Ahmed Kadi Amshi.
Other appointments announced by the National Assembly Service Commission include: Bala Yabani Mohammed to serve as Acting Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly.
Dauda Ibrahim El-Ladan to serve as the Acting Clerk, Senate and Patrick A. Giwa to remain clerk, House of Representative pending his retirement in November.
Yusuf Asir Danbatta was appointed as Acting Secretary to the National Assembly Service Commission.
