The All Progressives Congress (APC) Screening Committee for Ondo State Governorship Primary Election has cleared eleven aspirants angling for the party’s ticket ahead.
Twelve aspirants had presented themselves for the screening exercise.
One of them did not scale through.
There were feelers that Segun Abraham, who was supported in 2016 for the party’s ticket against Rotimi Akeredolu, was screened out.
The Chairman of the Screening Committee, Alhaji Tijjani Tumsa, made the disclosure on Friday.
The occasion was the presentation of the report of the screening exercise to the National Secretary of the party’s Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee (CEONCPC) at the party National Secretariat.
The reason for the disqualifucation of the aspirant and his identity had yet to be disclosed.
