▪︎Kaduna State Government confirms killing
Kaduna State Government on Monday said bandits had killed two more Greenfield University students, bringing the number killed so far to five.
The kidnappers had abducted nineteen students from their school, Wednesday (April 21).
The State Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan said security agencies just reported to the State Government the recovery of two more dead bodies of Greenfield University students, killed by bandits on Monday (26th April 2021).
Aruwan said the retrieved corpses had been evacuated to a mortuary, and the university had been notified of the development.
He said the State Government under the leadership of Malam Nasir el-Rufai was saddened by this evil perpetrated against innocent students abducted while pursuing their education for a glorious future.
Aruwan said the Government sent its deep empathy to their families and the university management, and prayed for the repose of their souls.
He said the Government would update the citizenry on further developments.
