Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has celebrated his son, Prince Ademakinwa, on his first birthday.
Celebrating his son via a post on Instagram, Ooni described Ademakinwa as a blessing to him and the throne of Oduduwa.
The revered monarch shared Ademakinwa’s pictures to celebrate the prince on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
He wrote: “My beloved son, Omooba Ademakinwa,
“You are a true blessing to me and to the sacred throne of. As you continue to grow in wisdom, strength and grace, always remember the divine heritage you carry as a prince of Ile-Ife.
“As you celebrate your birthday, may your path be guided by the values of honor, humility, and service to humanity.

Ooni had Ademakinwa with his fourth wife, Olori Ashley Folasade, whom the traditional ruler married in October 2022.
The prince was born at Princess Royal Hospital in London, United Kingdom.
