Chairman of the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Osun State, Pastor Funso Ishola has urged staff members of the Board to be up and doing, show maximum commitment and utmost dedication to their duties.
The Chairman gave this advice in his maiden meeting with the staff members of the board.
Pastor Ishola, while noting the sensitive nature of the Board’s statutory responsibility, urged the staff members to do their work conscientiously without expecting compensation from any intending pilgrims except from the God Almighty.
The Chairman who said he was not made the head of the Board by mistake but through the grace of God advised the staff members to always seek God’s direction in order to have peace of mind and to be able to deliver efficiently in their various capacities.
While reiterating that prayer was a panacea to success, he affirmed that prayer was never too much because “it makes one to know the will and plan of God.”
The pharmacist turned politician said that Senator Ademola Adeleke as a listening and workers-friendly governor would improve their working conditions and always create an enabling environment for the entire workers in the state.
In his welcome remarks, the Executive Secretary, Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Pastor Sunday Babawale applauded the decision of Governor Ademola Adeleke in appointing Pastor Funso Ishola, whom he described as a perfect match for the job as a renowned Pastor and politician that will make the Board achieve its purposes.
He lauded the Chairman for hitting the ground running immediately after his inauguration, and assured him of the co-operation of his officers, saying that they knew the worth of Governor Ademola Adeleke and would continue to appreciate him.
