The embattled National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, has returned to the country after two weeks in Europe.
His Special Adviser on Media, Mr Simon Imobo-Tswam, disclosed this in a statement on Friday, in Abuja.
Imobo-Tswam said that Ayu, who traveled out of the country on September 14, 2022, returned to Abuja via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, about 7pm.
Ayu had handed over to the party’s Deputy Chairman North, Iliya Damagun, and communicated the handover to the Independent National Electoral Commission. (NAN)
