The Lagos State House of Assembly has congratulated Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on his 60th birthday, praising his contributions to the state’s growth and prosperity.
Chairman of the House Committee on Information, Security and Strategy, Mr Stephen Ogundipe, expressed this in a congratulatory message issued on Wednesday in Lagos.
Ogundipe stated that the lawmakers appreciated the governor’s dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment, which had left a lasting impact on the state.
He noted that the Assembly valued Sanwo-Olu’s efforts, which stood as a testament to his steadfast dedication to the development of Lagos.
“On this special day, on behalf of the Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa, principal officers and colleagues, we rejoice with Governor Sanwo-Olu on turning 60.
“You embody the true spirit of a visionary leader with a firm grasp of principles that shape progressive governance in our dear Lagos.
“Your ability to listen, empathise, and act decisively has earned you respect from colleagues and admiration from the people,” he said.
He described the celebration as one marking six decades of cherished memories and joyful moments in the governor’s life.
Ogundipe added that the governor’s 60th birthday would be as remarkable as the life he has lived so far.
He said turning 60 was not only about reflection, but also about anticipating future adventures with renewed purpose.
The lawmakers prayed for the governor’s continued good health and abundant blessings from God Almighty.
