Chairman of the Ondo State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Henry Olu Olatuja, has accused two serving governors and a minister of masterminding and sponsoring the crisis in the state chapter of the party.
He specifically pointed the finger at the Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi; his Kaduna State counterpart, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai and Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, as complicit in the saga.
He alleged that they were neck-deep in the undemocratic processes that have caused intra-party crisis in the state.
Olatuja who made the allegation also hinted that ten of the governorship aspirants in the state for July 20 governorship primary might boycott the exercise.
He said the only thing that could save the impending was the reversal of the decision by the Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee (CEONCPC) to use indirect mode of primary election for the choice of the party’s standard bearer.
