This was corroborated by a video currently trending on social media, showing the vehicle of the said priest and where it eventually crashed inside bush.

Although, the identity of the priest had yet to be ascertained as of the time of this publication, a voiceover that accompanied the video recounted that the priest was rushed to the hospital. It further showed the crashed vehicle where it was abandoned inside the bush.

The narrator also decried the commando style and unprofessional approach of some government agents in discharging their duties, wondering why they should chase a priest in such a dreadful manner and in such a place that was still recovering from the scars and previous tragedies of insecurity, despite knowing that he’s a priest and despite seeing the inscriptions on the church branded vehicle.

He further called on the state Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, to call the government agents to order and ensure they were given the necessary training to professionally discharge their duties. [247UReports]
