Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan delivered another commanding display on Sunday, winning the women’s 100m hurdles at the Paris Diamond League in a season-best-equalling 12.28 seconds.

The 29-year-old crossed first at Stade Charléty, extending her strong form ahead of major championships later this year.

Amusan’s 12.28s matched her season’s best, previously set at the Xiamen and Rabat Diamond League meetings earlier this year.

The Paris meet was staged on a compressed schedule after a severe heatwave swept across France over the weekend.

Despite the conditions, Amusan looked in control from the start and finished comfortably clear of the field to claim victory.
