Alapomu commends Osun Finance Commissioner for attracting democracy dividends to constituents

A prominent king in Osun state, the Alapomu of Apomu kingdom, Oba Kayode Afolabi has commended the state’s Commissioner for Finance, Mr Bola Oyebamiji, for using his position under the present administration to attract meaningful development to Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan federal constituency.
Oba Afolabi stated this during a courtesy visit he paid to the chartered banker in his Ikire residence to felicitate with him on this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.
The monarch said there was hardly a town or community in the federal constituency that had not felt the impact of the Adegboyega Oyetola administration through the influence of Mr Oyebamiji.
The royal father, who also used the occasion to commiserate with the commissioner on the recent demise of his younger sister, said the positive impact of Oyebamiji “who is the Balogun Muslumi of the federal constituency can not be over emphasized as he has attracted development to the nooks and crannies of the constituency.”
He added that Oyabmiji had not only ensured that the masses of the constituency enjoy the dividends of democracy under the Adegboyega Oyetola administration, but had also continued to privately impact people’s lives positively across towns and religious affiliations.
According to the monarch, “Many people may not know this, but I am proud and happy to let the world know that Bola Oyebamiji has been my friend for over 30 years. I say this today with a sense of pride because he has made us proud as a people.
“Bola is a man that has always loved his people and he continues to portray it everyday with every given opportunity. He has continued to attract development to this federal constituency under the Oyetola administration.
“Through the grace of God, he is a member of cabinet of a very hard-working governor in person of Mr Adegboyega Oyetola and we are very glad that he has attracted so many dividend of democracy to this constituency, we also thank our Governor for allowing it.
“Bola Oyebamiji has privately affected a lot of people positively, this he does across religious divides. He is a man with a caring heart and he loves his people dearly.”
Expressing his appreciation to the monarch on the royal visit, Mr Bola Oyebamiji said he feels highly honoured and at the same time humbled by the visit of the Alapomu of Apomu kingdom to his residence.
He said, “It is not everybody that gets the honour and previledeg to receive a royal father on a courtesy visit in their lifetime, I must say that I am indeed very grateful for this visit.
“We are lucky in the state of Osun to have a governor who is determined to take development round the state.
“This is what the present administration will continue to do and we hope that things will continue to get better.”
