A former President, National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN, Comrade Wale Ajani, aka Oshaprapra, has expressed his deepest condolences with the Oyo State Government, the family of the late former governor and the Otun of the source, Adebayo Alao Akala, Oyo State people and Ogbomoso people in particular over his demise.
In a tribute to the deceased, Comr. Ajani, who is a Senatorial aspirant to represent Oyo Central Senatorial District on the platform of the People Democratic Party, said: ‘’It is actually a big blow on Oyo state as we can see that our amiable governor Seyi Makinde has to end the State activities (interfaith prayer) to honour the late former governor.”
Comrade Ajani said that Otunba Alao Akala was a political titan and lover of young people.
He recall how he gave him a state support to ascend the exalted position of the President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria NYCN.
He stated that the late Akala was a thoroughbred politician with many people-friendly initiatives.
According to him: “He would be remembered for his goodwill and cheerful giving spirit. “Oyato” as he was popular called was going to be missed by his admirer, political associate and most important his families.
“May God rest his soul in peace and give his immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss. The late Gov Akala should be immortalized.
‘’Otun of the Source, as you set out on the journey back to your maker, may the Almighty God receive your soul in His bosom.’’
