The activist urged the Southern Governors to continue meeting on issues that affect the Southern part of Nigeria, adding that the development would be better (for) all region(s) of the country.

“As una don start, make una dey increase am dey go. Make una dey do una own meeting, dey think about the southern region too. At least by the time we have the Northern governors doing their thing, the southern governors doing their thing, we will move to that Nigeria that will be better for all of us.

“We will get the restructuring we have been yearning for. Make una know say, it is not about the population., it is about what you bring to the table. You cannot be the one bringing the list to the table and yet you are the one all the mouth. Any small thing, you will stand up and start giving people instructions, you will start giving people injunctions here and there, saying this and that,” she added.

The activist also said there was so much insolent and so much disrespect in this country.

Read her: “I see some people coming out to say that the Southern Governors do not have the right to make decision for A, B, C, D. the decisions that you have and made as Northern Governors, with what right did you make it?

“Oh, suddenly the Southern Guvnors do not have the right to make laws for the people in their own States but the Northern Governors have the right to make their own laws. In short, the igbo wey una dey smoke don expire. Make una get the latest one. Make una no think says na only part of the country n aim craze dey. When I was growing up, my father said, if you want peace, be prepared for war. You are being nice all the time never get you want you need and by the time all of us know say any everybody craze and it can happen any time, it is that bed in psychiatric hospital that all of us want to occupy, then we will sit down and take sense to discuss and do the right thing.

“We need to begin to do the right thing in this country. I am so proud of the Southern Governors for this that they have done. Let us see more of it. So, let us be interacting through the Southern governors and the Northern governors.”
