The traditional ruler of Agoro Community in Sagbama Local Government Area, HRH Mark Deinkoru Ekiyou (Ogbotoro The VI), has felicitated with Deputy Governor Dr. Peter Pereotubo Akpe on his appointment and 55th birthday anniversary.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the monarch, speaking on behalf of the Council of Chiefs, CDC, women, youth leaders, elders and the entire community, described Dr. Akpe’s appointment as “well-deserved” and praised Governor Senator Douye Diri for selecting a leader of proven “content and character.”
The Amananaowei also offered prayers for the Deputy Governor’s continued strength and longevity, expressing confidence that the Diri-Akpe administration would deliver more roads, electricity and other infrastructure across the state within its tenure.
He particularly urged the governor and his deputy to revive the Bulou-Orua overside to Agoro road project, first awarded in 1986 but repeatedly abandoned by contractors over the past 40 years.
