Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has congratulated President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his victory in the February 25 presidential election.
In a letter of congratulations, dated March 2, entitled “LETTER OF CONGRATULATIONS”, Agba said that the victory was well-deserved.
He wrote: “I send you my congratulations and good wishes on your well-deserved election as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“I was greatly relieved that the election was able to take place in a peaceful environment without major incidents of violence, and I hope that the period of transition and your taking up your new office will remain similarly peaceful.
“I am confident that under your guidance and leadership of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, you will pursue effective ways to address the challenges facing our country to strengthen and expand its economy and to ensure prosperity for the people of Nigeria with new practical initiatives in all areas of development.
“Your sterling performance and excellent footprints with your pristine leadership as the governor of Lagos State stand you in good stead to achieve the above and more.
“I wish you good fortune, firm health, and every success in the fulfilment of your responsibilities and the peace, stability, and prosperity of our country.”
