Agba commends Abu Inu-Umoru on service to the less privileged, underserved in society

Minister of State for Budget and National Planning,  Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has commended his childhood friend and Chairman of Setraco Nigeria Limited, Chief Abu Inu-Umoru, for committing his life to the service of the less privileged and underserved in society.

In a birthday greeting to Inu-Umoru dated Saturday, May 9, 2020, the minister described him as “a friend like no other.”
Recounting their journey so far, Agba said: “circumstances, passion, including faith brought us together as friends and that bond of friendship has survived since our childhood and you remain a true friend in every word of it.”
According to him, “We have shared a lot on how best to improve the conditions of our people in every material way and I have had no one commit himself to the service of the less privileged and underserved in society as you.”
Agba further stated: “Your humility, your compassion, your empathy and your advocacy on behalf of the vulnerable in society is unparalleled.”
“Despite your awe-inspiring accomplishments, you have remained disciplined, unassuming and humble.
“Abraham Lincoln must therefore have had you in mind when he said that, ‘In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count, it’s the life in your years’,” he stated.
He continued: “It is both an honour and a blessing to have someone like you as a dear friend, a confidant and a brother.
“I want to wish you the best, that you will be fulfilled well beyond your deepest desires, that your further dreams and aspirations might come within your grasp without hard labour.
“On behalf of my wife and family, I felicitate with you on the occasion of your birthday.”
