The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) to some states in Nigeria, the Academy has again donated cartons of its NDA Hand Sanitizers to the Kaduna State government, as well as some military formations within the state.
Making the presentation to the Kaduna State Government today at the Hassan Usman Katsina House, Kaduna, the Academy Registrar, Brigadier General Ayoola Abaoba, described the gesture as part of NDA’s Civil/Military Cooperation outreach to its host state. He noted that the donation was necessitated by the Academy’s desire to support the state during this trying period of Covid 19 pandemic.
Recieving the items on behalf of the Kaduna State Government, the Permanent Secretary, General Services, Mohammed Bashir Umar, expressed the state government’s appreciation to NDA and described the outreach as a commendable effort. Umar further added that the NDA has always identified with the Kaduna State Government whenever the need arises.
In the same vein, cartons of the NDA Hand Sanitizers were donated to the Defence Industries Corporation, 44 Army Reference Hospital and 1 Division Nigerian Army Kaduna.
