Adeleke’s wife visits survivors of Ode-Omu crash in hospital, promises support

Wife of the governor of Osun State, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke, has visited the survivors of the Ode-Omu auto accident where they are receiving treatment at Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.

Our Correspondent recalls that the crash last week Saturday claimed 16 lives and injured some passengers.

Erelu Adeleke condoled with the families of the victims and thanked the good Samaritans who rescued the survivors and brought them to the hospital.

One of the survivors who is a native of Ede township and a student of the department of Health Technician, Crestfield College of Health Technology, Erin Osun, was elated and thankful to the governor’s wife for her unexpected visit.

The deputy Chief Medical Officer of the hospital and Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, Dr Babatunde Afolabi, described the administration of Governor Adeleke Adeleke as being passionate about the welfare of the people.

He said that the hospital management would continue to provide quality medical services to save lives.

Meanwhile, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke pledged to submit a report of her visitation to her husband, the state governor with a view to facilitating financial and material support of the state government for the victims.
