A prominent politician and party administrator who stamped his imprimatur in the formation and nurturing of All Progressives Grabd Alliance [APGA], Chief Chekwas Okorie, said that the newly formed opposition political platform- African Democratic Congress [ADC] would not be complete without the infusion of Muhammadu Buhari-backed Congress for Progressive Change [CPC]
In a statement entitled “THE EMERGENCE OF THE NEW ADC,” dated July 2, 2025, sent to THE CONCLAVE, Okorie [the Ojeozi Ndigbo], said “I had long predicted and expected this outcome.”
He stated: “I await the infusion of the Buhari backed CPC into the emerging ADC to complete what will constitute a formidable opposition party seriously on the march to routing the APC.
“I also stated earlier that Peter Obi would fly a presidential flag. He has recently confirmed it. What is not clear is the party on which platform he would use.
“Peter Obi really needs to reach out beyond his rabble-rousing Obidient group to stand a chance.
“However, I maintain that the 2027 general elections will be an epic encounter that will witness a lot of upset and drama that will be led by three major actors, namely; Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi.
“PDP, APGA, NNPP, SDP, etc, lack the combined capacity to alter the three-factor equation.
This is my take at this time.”
