A 28-year-old Bamise Olawuyi, on Monday appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan, for allegedly stealing money from different locations.
Olawuyi, whose address was not stated, is standing trial on a charge of stealing .
He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The prosecutor, Insp. Samuel Owolabi, alleged that the defendant committed the offences on April 6, at the Ido and Apete areas of Ibadan.
Owolabi alleged that the defendant stole the sum of N350,000 belonging to one Esther Udeh.
He alleged that the defendant also moved to Apete on same day where he stole one LG television worth N550,000, belonging to one Mubarak Adeniran.
The offences contravene the provisions of section 390(9) of the Criminal Law of Oyo State, 2000.

The Magistrate, Mrs Gladys Olanrewaju granted the defendant bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She adjourned the case until June 24, for hearing.
