Ex-House of Representatives spokesperson, Hon Zakari Mohammed has formally formally dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Mohammed was spokesperson of the House of Reps in the Seventh Assembly 2011-2015.
In a resignation letter dated 10th of July, 2025 and addressed to the Ward Chairman of Gwure/Gwasoro Ward, Baruten LGA of Kwara state, he simply stated that he was quitting the party to advance his political career in another platform.
He represented Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency between 2011 and 2019.
Mohammed was also chairman House of Reps’ Committee on Basic Education in the 8th Assembly.
