The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu has promised that if he wins, Nigerians won’t pay estimated bills.

An estimated bill is a kind of electricity payment system whereby the distribution companies bill customers without the help of any meter, whether postpaid or prepaid.

But speaking at a luncheon with business owners in Lagos State on Thursday, Tinubu said this won’t be the case if he is elected.

“By all means, you must have electricity. And you won’t pay for estimated billing anymore. When I become president, multiple exchange rates will go away. Write it down,” he told the gathering on Thursday.

“My discussion today is to inspire so that the promise of today can be a reality tomorrow. We promise you, we will bring prosperity to Nigeria.”

Aside from this, the APC flagbearer said his government will create a conducive environment for businesses in the country.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch with business leaders earlier today, where we discussed the roadmap for the wellbeing of our beloved nation across all sectors,” he tweeted after the meeting.

“I expressed that if elected we will create a committee from amongst diverse business leaders across our nation, who will expand, execute and continuously inform our action plan.”
