Youths association declares support for new Ogboru of Akiriboto-Oke

Youths, under Akiriboto-Oke Youths Development Association, have congratulated the new Ogboru of Akiriboto-Oke community in Ayedaade local government area of Osun State Oba Adewale Adekanmi on his installation.

This was contained in their congratulatory message to the newly-crowned Oba, signed and made available to journalists on Wednesday by the association’s Chairman, Prince Adefa Aworinde.

The youths, who promised to associate themselves and work with the new traditional ruler in Akiriboto-Oke community, described Oba Adekanmi as a round peg in a round hole.

They expressed confidence in hus ability to work towards the uplif of the area.

The youths, who also congratulated the residents of Akiriboto-Oke community, on being blessed with Oba Adekanmi as their Monarch at this point in time, said the new traditional ruler would not only pursue the development of his domain but as a learned and well exposed person who has travelled far and near would also facilitate people-oriented programmes that would better their lot.

The youths in their congratulatory message pleaded with the residents of Akiriboto-Oke community not to listen to any misleading news from any quarter’s contrary to the newly installed Ogboru of Akiriboto-Oke community, Oba Adewale Adekanmi.

The youths also appreciated the Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11 and all his kingmakers and Chiefs for the honour bestowed on the new Ogboru of the land, saying the new monarch and the entire residents of Akiriboto-Oke community home and in the Diaspora would not let them them down in all ramifications.

The youth also thanked the governor of the state, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, and his cabinet members as well as the state legislature and Chairman of Ayedaade local government and all the people that have contributed in no small measure to the success of the installation of Oba Adewale Adekanmi as the new Ogboru of Akiriboto-Oke community last Saturday.

The youths, however, enjoined the residents of the ancient Akiriboto-Oke community to give support to the newly-installed Ogboru to enable him to succeed.
