Wunti Al-Khair Foundation set to inaugurate ultramodern Sheikh Dahiru Islamic Centre

About 10,000 people from all walks of life within and outside the country are expected to grace the inauguration ceremony of ultra modern Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Integrated Islamic Centre, which was built by wunti al-khair foundation.

The State of the art edifice, which is the first of its kind in Bauchi state is a multipurpose Islamic resource centre that is aimed at enhancing the Islamic faith.

Briefing journalists on the level of preparations, Abdulrazak Mohammed Wunti, project manager, said the comprises of a mosque, conference halls, libraries, Islamiyya and computer labs.

He said the foundation was ready for the commission.

“The center is within the town as you can see the center is comprised of the main mosque, Islamiyya and conference hall, the capacity of the mosque is 3500 people that is inside, while the outside has the capacity to accommodate additional 3500 people, the Islamiyya has 18 classes, 6 toilets on each block totalling 24 toilets, 2 conference halls, 2 libraries and 2 computer labs.

“We have complied with all quality rules and regulations of building construction, quality control and quality assurance. We have complied with all of them.”

Also another team member Rabiu Mai Jama’a Wunti explained that preparation has reached advanced stage for the commissioning ceremony..

“We have gone far, it is done starting from planning, regulatory compliance, communication with key stakeholders and so on. Actually if you look at the number that is expected to be here, we are expecting over 10,000 people at a time. We are calling on the good people of Bauchi State, the invited guests within and outside the country to corporate with Us to work together to achieve what we plan for.”
