Onyeneho said the defendant cajoled the complainant to pay the said money into her account under the pretense of securing jobs for his two brothers.

He said that as soon as the defendant received the money, she started avoiding calls from the complainant who waited for the non-existent employment letters.

The counsel said that all efforts made by the complainant to retrieve his money from the defendant proved abortive.

Onyeneho said the offence contravened Section 322 of the Penal Code of Kaduna State, 2017.
