The bulldozer deployed in the disputed land by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) under the leadership of its Minister, Nyesom Wike, has been taken away from the site of the dispute between the former governor of Rivers State and an officer of the Nigerian Navy, Lieutenant Ahmad Yerima.
In a video doing the rounds on Friday, residents of Gaduwa area of the FCT booed as a trailer took the bulldozer away.
Wike had on Tuesday stormed the area after officials of the FCTA were prevented from demolishing a property that belongs to a former Chief of Naval State, Vice Admiral Awl Zubairu Gambo.
Yerima was at the head of a team that was deployed in the site to prevent the demolition of the property said to have been acquired by a company, which sold part of it to Gambo 15 years ago.
The naval officer refused entry to Wike when he arrived at the site with his team to have access to the land.
