Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, said he had no regrets joining the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led federal government.
He said that anyone who was angry that he was working in the Tinubu-led administration should go and hug a transformer.
Wike, a PDP member and leader, worked against his party during the 2023 presidential election, and after the elections, the former Rivers state governor accepted to work in the APC-led government.

His decision to work with the government of the day was, however, not welcomed by members of his party, PDP.
While speaking at the PDP congress in Rivers state on Saturday, August 31, 2024, Wike said: ‘’We are fully in government. We are fully in Tinubu’ government. I have no regrets about it, and I will continue to be there. Anybody who is angry should go and hug themselves in the transformer’
