The Acting Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has reassured Nigerian on enhancement of security measures for the protection of life and property across the country.
Emphasizing the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force under his leadership, the IGP planned to establish the Force’s preeminence within Nigeria’s internal security framework.
CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer at Force Headquarters in Abuja, stated that the Acting Inspector-General of Police would convene a meeting with Commanders of the seventy-nine (79) Police Mobile Force Squadrons on Monday, June 26, 2023, at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
“The purpose of this meeting is to equip them with new operational strategies that will enhance training, deployment, and tactical engagements.
“These measures are intended to bolster public safety and security for all citizens.”
The Ag. Inspector-General of Police assured the public that the current leadership of the force had devised a comprehensive range of policing approaches that would greatly contribute to public safety throughout Nigeria.
