Uwuake community in Edo state has saluted the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, for facilitating the completion of the Warrake-Iyakhara-Egono road.
A delegation from the Uwuake Community Progressive Union, Abuja, led by its chairman, Mr Abdulrazaq Salami, commended Prince Agba when it paid him a courtesy visit on Friday in his office.
Members of the delegation who spoke severally conveyed to the minister the appreciation of the Ogieagbase III of Warrake, HRH Animu Ogbedu, and the people of the town for facilitating the construction of Warrake-Iyakhara Road and the remediation of the gully erosion site in the community by the federal government.
The delegation made a passionate appeal to the minister to ensure the completion of the Iyakhara-Egono portion of the entire stretch of Warrake-Iyakhara- Egono road to link it with the Auchi-Benin expressway for the ease of movement of farm produce to the market.
Prince Agba acquiesced in the request by the delegation to take necessary steps to ensure that the Iyakhara-Egono stretch of the road was completed.
He charged the delegation to also impress it on their representative in the House of Representatives to follow up on the project by ensuring that fund was appropriated in the budget for it.
