Akwa Ibom State-based 16-year-old Kamsiyochukwu Chinyere Umeh has disclosed how she studied to achieve the highest score in the recently concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
In an interview with Daily Trust, Umeh said she focused on revising past questions and was encouraged by her parents.
“When I went home, I focused on revising the past questions, using the series I had. My parents also encouraged me and told me that I could do it,” she said.
Umeh scored 360 out of 400 in the UTME, making her the highest scorer in the 2023 exams. She is now eligible to study any course of her choice at any Nigerian university.
