The United States has condemned the killings of rice farmers at Kwashabe village in Zabarmari district of Jere Local Government Area, Borno State.
In a statement issued by the country’s Embassy in Abuja, the United States expressed deepest condolences to the families and friends of those killed or kidnapped in the attack.
It further stated that the attack was a stark reminder of why “the United States stands with Nigeria government and peoples as they fight to defeat terrorism.”
