The Urhobo Leadership Forum Abuja has elected Olorogun Dr. Peter Igho, MFR, as president to run its affairs for the next three years, following a general meeting on Sunday.
The forum said the vote, held April 19, 2026, during its Annual General Meeting, was “free, fair, transparent and credible” and produced a 13-member executive board in line with Article 9 of its constitution.

Dr. Chris Agboghoroma emerged as vice president. Other elected officers are Mr. Robert Itawa, general secretary; Miss Ese Unoroh, treasurer; Mrs. Ekpeme Agbache-Akaneme, financial secretary; Mrs. Celina Udueni, welfare officer; Commander Dahosa Eshalomi, public relations officer; Mr. Sylvester Egbedi, otota (spokesperson); and Mrs. Edafe Mary Ogheneakpobo, assistant general secretary.

Four ex-officio members complete the board: Immediate Past President Olorogun Jonathan O. Esin; Immediate Past Secretary Pastor Okolosi Paul-Andy; AVM (Retd.) Sonni Gberevbie; and Mr. Peter Odjoji.
The Urhobo Leadership Forum Abuja is a socio-cultural body of Urhobo professionals and leaders resident in the Federal Capital Territory. The new executives are expected to pilot the forum’s programmes, welfare interventions, and engagement with government and sister ethnic groups for a three-year term.

The AGM is the forum’s highest decision-making gathering and meets annually to review activities and elect leaders when due.
