Nigeria has recorded 393 new COVID-19 cases, according to Monday update by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
The figure has brought the number of confirmed infections in the country to 202,191.
In the report, FCT recorded the highest infections with 121 new cases, while Lagos followed with 86 cases, Edo-70, Delta-30, Rivers-24, Plateau-16, Benue-11, Cross River-10, and Abia 8.
Bayelsa, and Gombe recorded 4 cases each, while Bauchi and Kano had 3 cases each.
Adamawa recorded 2, and Taraba recorded the least case -1.
According to NCDC, this report included backlog of 1 confirmed case for Taraba for September 18, 2021.
Since the outbreak on February 27, 2020, a total of 2,661 persons have lost their lives to the virus while 190,901 have recovered and have been discharged.
