Sixty years of purpose. Sixty years of truth. Sixty years of service to Nigerians in Nigeria.

Today we celebrate Sufuyan Ojeifo— Journalist, Writer, Publisher, Media Consultant, and Public Affairs Analyst — a man whose pen has shaped conversations, held power to account, and given voice to the voiceless.

From the newsroom of _The Vanguard_ to the editor’s chair of THE CONCLAVE online newspaper, you have walked the path of integrity for over three decades. As General Secretary of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) and a member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), you have helped set the standard for ethical online journalism in Nigeria.

Your writing is known for clarity of thought and sharpness of insight. Whether dissecting governance under the Buhari administration, interrogating institutions like the BPP and NNPCL, Your writing have interrogated many National leaders and inspired them to tow the path of good governance. As a trained journalist you have consistently held to the tenet of the profession to be a responsible fourth arm of Government . You remind us that nation-building happens “in files properly processed, systems fairly run and institutions patiently strengthened.”I can continue endlessly on this but lack of space to highlight your heroic and unique contribution to knowledge. Indeed, I consider you a rare gift to Nigeria but remain untapped.

You are a “son” of Owo because your earlier formation is rooted deeply in that town,indeed, you are also proud son of Agbede indo State where you derived your ancestral lineage. You carry the legacy of Ojeifo dynasty with colossal stride as you were not deterred by the painful exit of your senior brother Mayor Tajudeen Ojeifo a very distinguished Educationist during his lifetime.

At 60, you remain “consistently apolitical” yet deeply committed to the public good. Disciplined, principled, and courageous — you do not suffer fools gladly, but you suffer no injustice in silence either.

As you mark this milestone, we pray that the Almighty continues to grant you strength, wisdom, and sound health. May your next decade be filled with greater impact, more stories told, and more institutions built without noise.

Happy 60th Birthday, Suffy. Thank you for choosing truth over noise, and substance over spectacle.
