President Bola Tinubu has written the Senate, seeking for the screening and subsequent confirmation of Adamu Galumje (JSC) as Chairman , Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB.
In the letter addressed to the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill, President Tinubu explained that his nomination was informed by the vacancy created by the expiration of tenure and subsequent retirement of the immediate past chairman of the bureau, Prof Isah Mohamned.
He added that the appointment was pursuant to section 154(1) of the 1999 Constitution as amended
The request was referred to the Senate committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions for furrher legislative action..
