Tinubu launches closed-door meeting with 14 APC Governors

National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and a front line presidential hopeful, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has launched into a closed-door meeting with no fewer than 14 APC governors.

The venue of the meeting was not indicated in the Twitter post with which Tinubu’s media aide, Tunde Rahman, announced the meeting.

The meeting is to enable Tinubu meet minds with the governors in what may be the last leg of his consultation before he unveils his presidential agenda for Nigeria.

He is expected to take the opportunity of the meeting to sell his agenda to the governors.

Among those at the meeting are Kaduna Governors Nasir el-Rufai, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe state, and Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Also in the meeting are Kwara state Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, who reportedly flew in from the United Kingdom this morning and Plateau State, Governor Simon Lalong, among others.

Rahman, media aide to Tinubu, announced the meeting via his twitter handle @tunderahmanu “Asiwaju Bola Tinubu presently at a meeting with APC Governors in Abuja.”
