All Progressives Congress chieftain, Bola Tinubu, on Friday, sympathised with the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, and family on the death of their son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.
In a statement on Friday, Tinubu said the deceased lived an exemplary life of service to God and the Body of Christ.
He, therefore, appealed to Nigerians to honour the late 42-year-old cleric by committing “to a life of compassion and togetherness that Pastor Dare believed in.”
Dare reportedly died in his sleep on Tuesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family.
Until his death, he was the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35.
His death shocked the whole world as well-meaning persons including presidents, governors, and personalities condoled with the 79-year-old general overseer and his wife on Dare’s death.
In his statement, Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor, said, “My deepest condolences to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, family & RCCG community on the passing of their beloved son, husband, brother, father, uncle and pastor, Pastor Oluwadamilare ‘Dare’ Adeboye”
