Three soldiers died on Monday while one was critically injured after one of vehicles in the convoy of Mohammed Babangida, son of former military Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (retd), crashed on the Minna-Suleja road in Niger State.

Mohammed was said to be travelling with his family to Abuja in a Honda Space bus.

He and his family narrowly escaped death as his convoy ran into an articulated vehicle loaded with tomatoes on the Minna-Suleja Road.

Three soldiers, who were driving ahead of him, in a black colour Prado Jeep, died in the accident after their vehicle had a head-on collision with an articulated vehicle travelling in the opposite direction.
